Awards. In early 2025, I wrote a blog post about whether or not to enter awards, after being named a finalist in the 2024 Travel Photographer of the Year competition with a photo from Iceland. After that, I submitted my Romanian series to various photography contests, where I’ve had great success; I’ve even been the overall winner of the category twice. It’s a wonderful recognition of my work.
